The weekly National Fast Track Resistance call is on Wednesday, April 29 at 9 pm EDT/6 pm Pacific.
This is a critical time to take action and make plans for more!
TPP negotiators just completed another round of meetings in DC this weekend. Now the prime minister of Japan is here for an 8-day visit. He will speak to a joint session of Congress tomorrow (the first time a leader of Japan has ever done that) to push the TPP.
Fast track could go to the floor of the House for a vote as early as this week. That will only happen if they think they have enough votes. Please encourage everyone to call their members of Congress repeatedly using www.StopFastTrack.com.
Members will be in their home districts again from May 2 to 11. This is an important time to plan activities to pressure them to hold fast on opposition to fast track.
On the call this week, instead of a featured speaker, we will have a discussion about what is going on with fast track and what we need to do to stop it. Please invite more people to join the call. A meme that you can download and share is attached.
There is a new registration link for those who have not registered previously. Click on this link to register.
