Next Who Should be Removed in Ferguson Are City Manager and Police Chief; Brockmeyer Should be Removed as Prosecutor and Judge in Surrounding Counties as well

Yesterday, a few days after the US Department of Justice issued a report on the injustice in the Ferguson police department and court system, a judge at the center of the controversy was forced to resign.  As the Huffington Post summarized it:

In November of 2014, the U.S. government's Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) issued a press release titled "Nearly One in Five Adult Americans Experienced Mental Illness in 2013." This brief press release provides a snapshot of the number of Americans who are suicidal, depressed, and mentally ill, and it bemoans how many Americans are not in treatment.

Opponents Mobilize to Stop Fast Track and TransPacific Partnership Free Trade Agreement

President Obama is pushing hard for congressional approval of trade promotion, or fast track authority, that many believe is essential for passage of the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade agreement, or TPP. The proposed trade deal would include 12 nations that border the Pacific Ocean, including Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the U.S. and Vietnam.
